5C Scientists at Lincoln School experimented with a non-Newtonian fluid: slime!! This fascinating material changes thickness when force is applied (like kneading it!), which is different from Newtonian fluids such as water or oil. The students stretched, squished, and bounced the slime to see how it doesn't behave like water!"

Fifth graders in Language Arts researched the lives of historical figures. They designed impressive informational websites to share their findings and delivered fantastic presentations to their classmates. So much hard work and learning on display!





Kindergarten, first, and second-grade students were thrilled to welcome author Jay Miletsky to Lincoln School today! He shared his wonderful stories and inspired our young readers.

5C math students tackled challenging Pi-themed puzzles and sharpened their math skills during special Pi Day activities today!




Our students enjoyed an interactive book walk, organized by our Media Specialist, Mrs. Husstege! It was so nice to see the students enjoying reading around the school. A huge thank you to Mrs. Husstege for creating this engaging experience!

Lincoln School kicked off Read Across America week with a fantastic school-wide hallway reading event! Students and staff from Kindergarten through 5th grade spent 15 minutes reading together throughout the school. We are all looking forward to the Read Across America events taking place in our school next week.





Amazing work is happening everyday at Lincoln School! Today, we hosted the Literacy Leader's Network, a professional learning network for principals and supervisors focusing on literacy. Learning was happening all around!




A big thank you to our PTO and parent volunteers for leading Masterpiece Art at Lincoln School! We learned about the joy of making art and creative process. Using Artist Marcel Duchamp's process of using everyday mundane objects to make art, students used string to make their creations.





Our fourth and fifth graders were working hard during their instrumental music lessons today! They are practicing scales at new heights with Mr. Weidman and rehearsing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" with Mr. Vetrero. We are proud of their musical growth!




Our second graders are building essential word processing skills in Google Docs. So much learning happening!
