Dear Lincoln School Community,
Next week, Lincoln School will be celebrating “Kindness Week,” with a variety of activities in and out of the classroom. We will also be dressing in special colors and attire throughout the week to come together as a school community. Thank you to our School Counselor, Ms. Wiebe, for coordinating the week. A special note from our Student Council: “Thank you for being “Better Together” as a school community and donating 1,138 food items for our local Social Services Food Pantry. As for the competition that was held the last two weeks: The “AFC (Grades 2, 3 & 4) will receive a free outdoor recess coupon. Thank you, Lincoln Pride, for being generously ALL IN!”
This week, many of our students enjoyed "Hundredth Day of School" activities, as we recognize the ceremonial century mark of our school year and turn the corner to the second half. Many of our kindergarteners even dressed up as if they were 100 years old, or 100 days old. This fun tradition was enjoyed by all!
With Valentine’s Day approaching, as a reminder, children may bring in Valentine’s Day cards for their classmates, but we are not permitted to distribute cards that have candy, chocolates, etc., attached to them. If children do bring in Valentine’s, please ensure that they have one for each member of the class.
Finally, we welcome our families to join us for Lincoln Family Bingo Night tonight from 6:30-8:00 pm at Lincoln School. Prizes and fun for all! Walk-ins welcome. We hope to see you there!

The Intramural Scooter Football semi-final games will be wrapping up next Tuesday. The two remaining teams will play each other on Friday, February 17th at 1:30 pm in Scooter Bowl XXIX. This Scooter Bowl tradition is a favorite memory of all Lincoln Students.
