Dear Lincoln School Community,
Today, we were treated to a wonderful holiday concert by our 1st and 2nd grade students! Our young singers performed “Arf on the Housetop,” a canine-themed holiday performance led by our music teacher Mrs. Panzitta. I am very proud of all of our students for their hard work in preparing for the show, for sharing their talents, and for their courage in performing in front of hundreds of audience members! Thank you to all of our parents, grandparents, and friends who joined us for this special event.
Our 4th and 5th Grade Chorus Holiday Concert is scheduled for Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 1:30 pm in the Lincoln School gymnasium. We hope to see many of you in attendance to see and hear the wonderful talents of our 4th and 5th graders!
The latest edition of “The Lion’s Den,” a student-led video news show produced by our 5th graders, is now out! Please click here to see the most recent episode, and enjoy the show.
Report cards will be available for viewing on Genesis at the conclusion of the school day on Friday, December 16th. Please check that you have access to your Genesis Parent Portal account prior to that date. If you have any difficulty accessing the portal, please email our Genesis help desk at genesis@wyckoffps.org.
Finally, I would like to remind parents to please use the crosswalk when walking with their children from the parking lot to the sidewalk, particularly during morning drop-off. I have seen several incidents recently of children running or walking from the lot to the sidewalk and not looking as cars are coming through the drop-off line. The use of the crosswalk provides those coming through the drop-off line with ample opportunity to see any pedestrians waiting to cross. Thank you, the safety and wellbeing of our students is of utmost importance, and I appreciate your follow through!

PLAYGROUND SAFETY
We encourage our students to take advantage of the fun, fitness, and community atmosphere that our playgrounds and fields offer, including after school. When using the playgrounds and fields after school students should be supervised by parent or adult and be sure to follow safety rules. Thank you for helping keep our playgrounds and fields safe for all.
