Dear Parents/Guardians,
We had a great first week at Lincoln School, with students and staff re-engaging and connecting with classmates and becoming acclimated with their new grade levels. Students have acclimated well to the new school year, and are excited about being back together. Routines are being established, and a positive and supportive classroom community is being formed. Great job to all of our Lincoln Lions on a terrific start to the year!
Today, we held our first Schoolwide Morning Meeting of the year in the Lincoln School gymnasium, and it was a great success. Students enjoyed greeting one another by grade level, sharing their hopes and dreams by class for the school year, and receiving a visit from our sponsored puppy from the Seeing Eye Organization, the one and only Abraham! We are looking forward to a terrific school year together.
Please note that Back to School Night is scheduled for Tuesday, September 20th, beginning at 6:30 pm. Details on the evening will be shared soon. Additionally, we invite parents to join us at our upcoming PTO meeting this Thursday, September 15th, at 9:15 am here at Lincoln School.

As you know, timely and consistent attendance at school is crucial to your child’s academic, social, and emotional success. As a parent myself, I certainly understand that some absences and tardies are, of course, unavoidable; however, please make every effort to have your child on time for school and ready to learn. We are here to partner together with you, so please reach out to me, your child’s teacher, or Nurse Doidge should you have any questions regarding your child’s attendance and how we can work together to support them here at school.
Our online "Friday Folder" is a depository of important notices, flyers, and letters from the school and Wyckoff community. Please be sure to check the list of Friday Folder documents, which is included in each weekly E-Blast, and carefully read those that are pertinent to you and your child(ren). There is a link in each E-Blast to the electronic Friday Folder, which can also be accessed at any time through the Lincoln School website. If you need hard copies of any document on the Friday Folder, do not hesitate to reach out to the front office and we will be happy to print them for you.
Today, the Lincoln School students and staff wore red, white, and blue in recognition of Patriot Day. Each and every day, and this weekend in particular, we think of those that dedicate their lives in service to others. We honor, and remember, those that lost their lives on September 11th, and keep in our thoughts all who were affected.

SUBSCRIBING TO THE LINCOLN SCHOOL CALENDAR:
To subscribe to the Lincoln School Calendar (on an iPhone/iPad) -
1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap on Calendars, then Accounts.
3. Choose Add Account. then choose Other.
4. Add a Subscribed Calendar
5. Type in your calendar link (below) in the Server field, then tap Next -
6. Tap Next/Save to confirm, and the calendar will appear when you go to your Calendar app.
To subscribe to the Lincoln School Calendar (on a computer) -
1. On your computer, open Google Calendar
2. On the left, next to "Other calendars," click Add 
3. Enter the calendar's address:

4. Click Add calendar. The calendar appears on the left, under "Other calendars."
