Dear Lincoln School Community,
Yesterday after school, our Lincoln 5th grade students did an amazing job in running the annual "Giving Back Fundraiser," an ice cream social that was enjoyed by a packed house in the multi-purpose room and gym! The event, which was student-led, raised over $1,300 for the “Make a Wish Foundation.” Thank you also to our parent chairs, Mrs. Douma and Mrs. Powers, for their leadership and support, as well as our other parent volunteers. Way to go 5th graders, we are so proud of you!
The Lincoln School Science Fair will be held on Wednesday, April 26th, in the Multi-Purpose Room from 6:30-8:00 pm. Presentations will be shared by student participants in grades 3-5, but all are welcome to attend and enjoy the scientific experiments, explorations, and explanations! On Monday, April 24th, Lincoln School Instructional Coach Mrs. Velez and Reading Specialist Mrs. Barbieri will host a Wyckoff Schools Connect Series workshop for 3-5 parents entitled "Fostering Literacy at Home.” The workshop will be held from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the Lincoln MPR. In addition, on Friday, April 28th, please join us for an additional Wyckoff Schools Connect Series workshop for K-5 Lincoln Families entitled “Family Art Night,” hosted by Mrs. Linz. NJSLA TESTING DATES
Please note the following dates for the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJ SLA) for students in grades 3-5. The assessments will begin after the morning meeting each day, at approximately 9:15 am.
English Language Arts (Grades 3-5) - May 9th-10th
