Dear Lincoln School Community,
On Tuesday, December 23rd, our Student Council is once again sponsoring a holiday spirit wear day. Students and staff are invited to wear their fun winter PJs, a silly holiday sweater, Grinch gear, or simply come decked out in holiday colors and glitz! We will also hold our monthly schoolwide morning meeting on Tuesday, and come together as a Lincoln School community for one final time in 2025. Please note that December 23rd is a minimum day for all students, with a 1:05 pm dismissal. No lunches will be served. Kindergarten students may bring lunch and a snack.
The family report for the second iReady diagnostic for students in grades K-5 is available for viewing on your student’s iReady portal. This can be accessed via Classlink. You will need your student’s username and password, which can be found on the Genesis Parent Portal. Click here for information and instructions on accessing the result. Please note that we are only approximately one-third through the school year, and many students are still working towards meeting grade level expectations. We are focused on tracking growth over time, with the goal of meeting grade level expectations by the third diagnostic in the Spring. iReady creates a personalized learning plan, termed “My Path,” based upon the student’s diagnostic, to address areas for growth. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me or your child’s teacher.
Please come and claim any lost and found items located in the MPR before December 23rd. All items left will be donated after the winter break.
