Dear Lincoln School Community,

Scooter Bowl XXXI is in the books! In a well-played contest today with each player demonstrating his or her personal best and playing with sportsmanship, the “Fighting Irish” were victorious over the “Buckeyes” by a score of 41-31 in the intramural Scooter Football Championship. Thank you to our referees Mr. Patanella and Mr. White, our cheerleaders, our Lions, our student line judges, Grand Marshal Spencer, and our faculty and staff that helped make this event possible. Finally, thank you to the Lincoln PTO for providing the staff with Scooter Bowl XXXI t-shirts! This great tradition highlighted the wonderful school spirit and community that exists at Lincoln School! Go Lions! 

Thank you to all who donated to our Student Council "Be the Change" Super Bowl Food Drive! Over 500 food items were collected, with the "NFC Conference" (Grades 2, 3, and 4) collecting the most items and winning a free extra recess. Thank you to our Student Council for all of their work on behalf of our school and community.

Finally, please note that all District schools will be closed next week for February break beginning on Monday, February 17th. Schools will reopen on Monday, February 24th.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION:

Parents and guardians of incoming Kindergarteners, please click here for information on registering your child in the digital portal for September 2025.  If you have an incoming Kindergartener who will be five years of age on or before October 1, 2025 that will be attending Lincoln School in September, please email Mrs. DiMeglio at mdimeglio@wyckoffschools.org so that we may begin planning accordingly. When registering, please select that your incoming Kindergartener is a sibling of a current student, by using the drop down indicating that your older child attends Lincoln School.  

SUMMER ACADEMIES - MUSIC CLASSES:

This summer, the Wyckoff Music Department is looking to start classes at Summer Academies. Whether you already know how to play or sing, or want to get a head start on your new instrument for the first time, this is the place for you! Student enrollment will be accepted Grades 4-8. If you are at all interested, please fill out this google form so we can have an idea of how many students are interested. Thank you, we hope to see you there!

NJSLA TESTING DATES:

Please note the following dates for the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA) for students in grades 3-5. The assessments will begin after the morning meeting each day, at approximately 9:15 am.

English Language Arts (Grades 3-5) - Wednesday, May 7th and Thursday, May 8th
Mathematics (Grades 3-5) - Tuesday, May 13th, Wednesday, May 14th & Thursday, May 15th.
Science (Grade 5 only) - Thursday, May 22nd and Friday, May 23rd
