Dear Lincoln School Community,
We held our monthly Schoolwide Morning Meeting in the gymnasium today at the beginning of the school day. The entire school came together as a learning community and discussed New Year’s resolutions as well as this month’s core value of “Trust.” We shared what it means to be “trustworthy,” and celebrated the work of our Student Council and their upcoming Food Drive. We also played a fun game of “1 or 2?!” - ask your child more about our Schoolwide Morning Meeting!
With Valentine’s Day approaching, as a reminder, students may bring in Valentine’s Day cards for their classmates, but we are not permitted to distribute cards that have candy, chocolates, etc., attached to them. Instead, students may add a non-edible item such as a sticker, pencil, etc. if they so choose. If students do bring in Valentine’s, please ensure that they have one for each member of the class.
The Lincoln School Student Council invites you to “Be the Change” by participating in our “Super Bowl Food Drive Competition!” The Drive will be held from February 3rd through February 14th. Every grocery item donated will help local families in need through Social Services. Our teams will compete to see who collects the most grocery items. Each team will have a labeled box in the Multipurpose Room. No expired dates please, and thank you in advance for your contribution. Please click here to view the flyer for additional information.
Although the weather is cold, we are already planning for the upcoming school year! One of the most exciting parts of the year is welcoming our newest Lincoln Lions to our school, and the first step in this process is the registration of our incoming Kindergarteners. Parents and guardians of incoming Kindergarteners, please click here for information on registering your child in the digital portal for September 2025. If you have an incoming Kindergartener who will be five years of age on or before October 1, 2025 that will be attending Lincoln School in September, please email Mrs. DiMeglio at mdimeglio@wyckoffschools.org so that we may begin planning accordingly. When registering, please select that your incoming Kindergartener is a sibling of a current student, by using the drop down indicating that your older child attends Lincoln School.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Patrick Lee
Principal
