Connected Parent Night - Leaping Forward as Literacy Learners: Supporting your Kindergartener at Home

LEAPING FORWARD AS LITERACY LEARNERS

SUPPORTING YOUR KINDERGARTENER AT HOME

with Lauren Barbieri, Lincoln School Reading Specialist
and Jess Lacasse, Lincoln School Kindergarten Teacher

This session is intended for parents of Kindergarten students looking to support their child’s growth in the area of emergent literacy.

You can expect to come away with a solid understanding of the foundational skills that are necessary to be successful readers and writers in K and beyond.

We will demonstrate strategies taught in the classroom, and share how you can use household materials to support this work at home. You will leave with games and activities that will nurture your child’s continued success.

Wednesday, October 23rd
