Lincoln Logo

Dear Lincoln School Community,

Today, our hallways were transformed into “The Greatest School on Earth” as we celebrated our annual Theme Day with the building decorated in a circus theme! The day was filled with activities and assemblies centered around our school theme “Great Happens Here. ” It was an unforgettable day and students, staff, and volunteers had an amazing experience. Special thanks to our Theme Day chairs, Mrs. Fox and Mrs. Siderias, the Decorating Committee chairs, Mrs. Miano and Mrs. Powers, and the Luncheon chairs, Mrs. Korinis and Ms. Caldwell, for all of their hard work and creativity in planning and organizing the day. Thank you also to our staff and parent volunteers for their efforts in creating a memorable day for our students. We are already looking forward to Theme Day 2025: “Be the Change!”

Yesterday, our 4th graders enjoyed a wonderful field trip to Waterloo Village, a 19th century restored village that covers the time from a 400-year old Lenape Native American village to the era of commerce that once existed along the Morris Canal. Students, teachers, and chaperones enjoyed seeing the many natural and historic treasures of Waterloo Village, and were excited to share all that they learned when they returned to school at the end of the day. Thank you to our staff and parent chaperones for leading the trip!

Please note that our 4th and 5th grade spring Instrumental Band Concert will be held on Tuesday, June 4th at 2:00 pm for students and 7:00 pm for parents and guests. The performances will be held in the school gymnasium. Please click here to view the flyer. We hope to see you there!

Attention all 4th and 5th grade students: a makeup one-mile run for 4th and 5th grade students will be held at 8 am on Monday, June 3rd on the ball fields. Meet there if you would like to do a makeup run!

There are two important notices in the Friday Folder for our current 5th grade students. First, a letter regarding required immunizations and health forms for rising Eisenhower Middle School 6th graders for the 2024-2025 school year. The second form is a waiver for the 6th grade trip to Fairview Lake YMCA Camp in the Fall.
