Dear Lincoln School Community,
This past Tuesday, the number 3.14 was on everyone's minds as students participated in a series of fun math games and activities in honor of the number Pi. Thank you to the many parent volunteers who assisted, and a special note of gratitude to our parent coordinators, Mrs. Joudeh and Mrs. Pianelli, as well as our staff for helping facilitate the lessons.
Thank you to all of the students, parents and teachers that joined us for last night’s “Lincoln School Family Makerspace Night!” Those in attendance enjoyed playing and learning with everything from robots to LEGOS, and stop motion to coding. We look forward to additional opportunities to share our Makerspace work with the community. Thank you to Mr. Patanella for planning and organizing this fun event!
Report cards will be going live on the Genesis Parent Portal on Friday, March 22nd at the end of the school day. Report cards are essential tools of communication between your child's teacher and you, as parents and guardians. I look forward to continued collaboration between home and school as we work together to ensure your child's academic success. If you have any difficulty accessing the portal, please email our Genesis helpdesk at genesis@wyckoffps.org.
As a reminder, we have a number of items in our Lost & Found, located in our Multi Purpose Room. Please stop by to identify any missing clothing or other items by next Monday, March 22nd. Any unclaimed items will be donated after this date.
Have a wonderful weekend, and Happy St. Patrick’s Day☘️!
Sincerely,
Patrick Lee
Principal

LINCOLN LOVES READING CHALLENGE
Our first ever Lincoln Loves Reading month challenge is almost halfway completed. As announced last week, we are working as a whole school community to 'Read through the height of all the Lincoln grownups' before the end of our reading month on Thursday 3/28. Students in all grades are welcome to participate! Books that a student (or Lincoln grownup) reads independently, listens to on audio books, reads with someone, or is read aloud to all count! To kick off our Lincoln Loves Reading month, Mr. Lee has agreed to dress up for the day if we complete the challenge! The votes have been cast and the winning costume [if we complete the challenge] is a dog! Below is the link to send in the books you finish!
