Dear Lincoln School Community,
This past Wednesday, Lincoln School held our annual Fire Prevention assembly for students in Kindergarten through second grade, hosted by the Wyckoff Fire Department. Students learned about fire safety, viewed some of the equipment that a firefighter uses, and discussed how to stay safe during an emergency at school or at home. Thank you to Sgt. Zivkovich and the Wyckoff Fire Department for their service to our school and community!
The school photographer needed to reschedule the photo retake date from Wednesday, October 25th to Thursday, October 26th. Photo retakes will take place at 10:30 am. The photographer will retake pictures of those students who were absent, who are new to the district, whose eyes were closed or who had hair in their face for the photograph, or for those parents who personally contacted the photographer requesting a retake. Please email Mrs. DiMeglio at mdimeglio@wyckoffschools.org if your child will be taking a retake picture.
Our Halloween parade will be held on Tuesday, October 31st, at 2:30 pm. Parts of the costume that can be safely worn, and allow students to engage in learning, participate in recess/PE, and use the restroom, may be worn to school in the morning. Other costume attachments and accessories, or costumes that cannot be easily and comfortably worn throughout the day, should be brought in a bag and students may change prior to the parade. Please be mindful of appropriate and safe costumes, and note that toy guns, knives, weapons, etc., are not permitted. We hope you can join us for this fun tradition here at Lincoln School!
For planning purposes, our Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on November 6th and 13th. The conferences will run from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on November 6th, and 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on November 13th. Teachers emailed an electronic signup form this afternoon; if you have not received the electronic signup form, please reach out to your child’s homeroom teacher.
